This beautiful provincial park on Lake Dauphin is a popular spot for family gatherings and picnics.  Just a short drive east of Dauphin, it’s the perfect place to cool off or catch some rays whether you’re in town for a festival, family wedding, or baseball tournament.  Plenty of campsites are available if you need a place to park your RV; a playground, ball diamond, horseshoe pits, walking trails, modern washrooms and showers are also available.  The Dauphin Lake Golf Course is just 2 minutes away, so don’t forget your clubs!

Baldy Mountain Viewing Tower and Trail:  At 831 meters, this is Manitoba’s highest elevation!  It may not sound like much, but from the 12-metre observation tower you will see some magnificent views over the spruce and aspen forest to the valley below.  The trail to the viewing tower has interpretive signs describing the fur trade, early inhabitants of the area, the first ranger’s cabin and information regarding the resource-rich land.
