Fishing & Hunting

Some lakes have special regulations. Consult the Manitoba Anglers Guide for complete information and view our list of local Guides & Outfitters.

Dauphin Lake:  Dauphin Lake is a trophy walleye fishery with fish weighing 1.4 to 1.8 kg (3-4 lbs) or more!  Try your luck catching northern pike and Master Angler walleye:  a record catch of a 71.45 cm (32”) walleye was caught at Lake Dauphin.  A number of boat launches are available and Rainbow Beach Provincial Recreation Park offers camping and swimming.  Lake Dauphin is a shallow lake, so take care when boating.
