CNR Station

CNR Station
Once the hub of Dauphin, the Canadian Northern Railway (CNR) Station provided a vital link for settlers immigrating to the Parkland. The building was constructed in 1912 and is considered one of Manitoba’s finest pieces of railway architecture. Its impressive size, picturesque roofline, dormers, turrets and decorative brick and stonework are a remarkable focal point in the community.
A Provincial Heritage Site, it now houses several offices and the Dauphin Rail Museum. The adjacent Berry Patch and CN Park take you through a meandering path through a variety of perennial grasses, fruit shrubs, and flowerbeds, east to Main Street.
