Winterlife in Dauphin Begins!

With lakes, forests, hiking, biking and festivals in the summer months in Dauphin, one would think this little city hibernates for the winter. This is simply untrue. With Ye Olde Season of Giving right around the corner, Dauphin’s Winterlife campaign is in full swing, commencing this Friday, November 27, with the Annual Tree Lighting ceremony, Moonlight Madness and the Annual Parade of Lights on Saturday, November 28 starting at 5:30 pm. Take a look at all the fun & free winter activities happening Saturday on our handy parade route map. They’ll get you into the mood for a parade, to be sure!

If you’re planning on doing some shopping this weekend and throughout the next month, be sure to follow our online Shop Local campaign! Picking up a gift at a local business? Post a pic on your social media channels and use the campaign hashtag, #shopdauphin, for your chance to win amazing prize packs with goodies from local biz! If you’re doing some Moonlight Madness shopping this weekend, try your hand at the Chamber’s annual retail challenge, the Christmas Quest! They have HUGE winnings that might just make Christmas shopping a little easier on the pocket book! A link to their contest card is here – you can print one right now! CHRISTMAS QUEST CONTEST CARD
